Perry H. Kay Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The Perry H. Kay Memorial Scholarship is an annual, one-time scholarship designed to help senior high school males make the transition to college from high school upon graduation. Each year we award a $500 scholarship to multiple high school male graduates, one recipient per each of our fraternity’s geographical regions (SW, SE, NE, MW, W). Please complete the document in full so that we may get a great comprehension of who you are.

Complete one 300-750 Word Essay on one of the following topics: A) Teenagers are the future leaders of the World. Sometimes they are put into challenging situations that help to develop their leadership qualities. Describe a time in which you had to demonstrate leadership qualities. Explain how you handle the situation and what the outcome was. B) College is an open door for many fun opportunities, but there are plenty of opportunities for growth and change. What do you expect to do once you are in college? Describe what you are expecting to learn while you are in college and your plan to achieve success. Explain how these things will change you to grow in your personal life. C) There are many challenges in today’s current economy and society. How do think those challenges will affect you in the future? What can you do to take on those challenges and make things better? D) How does your faith play apart in achieving your goals?
